Attractive miniature with numerous milky, elongated Quartz crystals and a highly etched Fluorite on top. Some needles are grown into the Fluorite, very few are broken, most have perfect terminations. Find from 2012 in Nikolaevskiy Mine.

Here you see a fine combination example from 1st Sovetskii Mine. A sharply terminated, 3cm long Ilvaite, not repaired, sitting in a cavity, filled with Quartz crystals. The matrix is formed by sprays of Hedenbergite, a classic from Dalnegorsk.

"Snowy" Hedenbergite. An elegant cluster of well terminated, dark green crystals with a white unknown coating. Hedenbergite is a common mineral in Dalnegorsk, good crystals are pretty rare! Bor Pit in 2011, the mine works temporary.

A line of Fluorites, perfectly perched on a matrix with tiny Quartz needles. The cube-octahedrons present a fine sample of these silky crystals with absolutly clear interior. Only one contact at the bottom Fluorite, overall a great miniature.

Showy Fluorite specimen 360 degrees arround. The Nikolaevsky Mine is famous for these frosted crystals with glass-clear windows and gemmy interior. The Fluorites measure up to 2cm in diameter, notice several Quartz crystals, sticking in all directions. Two contacts at the bottom, overall a very fine specimen.

Very interesting Fluorite cluster. Numerous intergrown modified cubes with sharp bevels, covered by hundreds of tiny sparkling Pyrites. The faces of the Fluorites are dull, the interior water-clear and gemmy. Contact only at the bottom. Attached photo shows the entrance to Nikolaevskiy Mine in 2011.

A find from 2008 in Nikolaevskiy Mine. Numerous Fluorites are aesthetically scattered on matrix in combination with Calcite and milky Quartz crystals. The faces are slightly frosted, the water-clear quality is visible through the "windows" on each Fluorite. Only some contacts on the smaller crystals, the main line is in perfect condition.
