Great gemmy Aquamarine from an old find at Hohenstein Mountain. The crystal shows a rare blue color and measures 3,5 x 5,0cm. On top you see a doubly terminated Schorl.

A superb cluster of emerald-green Fluorites. Only a small contact at the bottom, where it grew on the matrix. These Fluorites have become classics in recent years.

A004-002 - Aquamarine, Schorl

Very unusual and rare Aquamarine. All crystals are doubly terminated and show a blue-greyish core, ending in clear terminations. Although we know better colored Aquamarines, this specimen exhibits a pleasing sculptural form. With Schorl and minor Feldspar it's a classic combo. Attached photo shows the most productive area at Hohenstein Mountain.

This is an outstanding "wheel" of translucent Prehnite from the basalt formations in the Goboboseb Mountains. The specimen is formed by hundreds of radial aggregates, well formed and with great mint green color in backlight. Attached the view from one of the "Goboboseb claims" to famous Brandberg.

From time to time nice Smoky Quartz shows up from the Erongo Mountains. This is a stunning combination, with a dominant, elongated crystal and fine clarity. Hard work for the local miners to open a pocket.

Gorgeous Quartz "flower". Colorless Quartz is very rare from the Goboboseb Mountains. I've never seen such a radial growing of more than 50 crystals, the longest measure 4 cm. Specimens shows only a few contacts, overall for such a size in great condition. Picture shows a typical pocket zone.

A nice pair of hematite-included Quartz from recent finds. The main crystal shows an interior phantom, all arround with good luster. The Orange (Oranje) River forms the national boundary between Namibia and South Africa and was famous for the Diamond deposits.

Dramatic Amethyst. This gorgeous crystal has a very well defined color zonation, absolutly clear exterior, sharp Amethyst core, with minor Smoky sections. Outstanding luster and beside one small chip free of any damage.

A011-003 - Orthoclase, Beryl
Location: Hohenstein, Farm Bergsig, Erongo Region, Namibia

This fine, elongated Orthoclase was found in 2009 in the granite walls of Hohenstein mountain. The sharp crystal shows very good luster, two tiny Beryls are sticking on the faces. Recent finds of beautiful mineral specimens came from this area.
